Scismic is supporting the growth of a life sciences product company headquartered in the U.S., with offices in Europe and Asia. They are a renowned global company in the chemicals and biochemicals research market specializing in the development of novel life-science reagents, reference compounds, APIs and natural compounds.
We are looking for an experienced sales account manager to cover the Upper Midwest territory (Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota), selling the company’s wide range of high-quality research chemicals and biochemicals (novel life science reagents, reference compounds, natural compounds) for scientific use. This is a full-time position with career advancement opportunities within the company. You must be available to work from Monday to Friday.

The Role
The main objective of this position is to manage an existing sales territory and foster strong relationships with assigned customers, ensuring customer satisfaction and driving profit growth. As an important contributor to our team's long-term goals, this role presents a fresh opportunity to make a significant impact.
- Flexible working arrangements.
- Generate new business, negotiate deals, and close contracts.
- Identify and approach prospective Life-science related research/industrial customers.
- You are responsible for achieving monthly and quarterly sales targets by formulating sales planning and strategies.
- Provide status information to your Manager including forecast/pipeline information.
- You will keep a trustful relationship with clients through proactive follow-up actions and support.
The successful candidate will have:
- A degree in Chemistry, Biomedical Science, Biotechnology, Biology, Medical, or related discipline is preferred. (Must)
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Customer-oriented with a proactive and good serving attitude.
- Good team player, eager to learn and take challenges.
- Proficient with MS Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc.)
- Immediate available is preferred but not a must.
- Fresh graduates are welcome.
