A biotechnology-focused academic research lab is recruiting two postdoctoral researchers to lead projects in bacterial virulence and fish disease resistance. These are 3-year appointments with opportunities for international collaboration.
A biotechnology-focused academic research lab is recruiting two postdoctoral researchers to lead projects in bacterial virulence and fish disease resistance. These are 3-year appointments with opportunities for international collaboration.
Role 1: Study bacterial secretion systems and virulence factors using molecular microbiology, genomics, and bioinformatics.
Role 2: Investigate mechanisms of disease resistance in fish using next-generation sequencing, environmental microbiology, and computational analysis.

We’re looking for candidates with:
- PhD in Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Pathogenesis, or related field
- Strong experimental background in host–microbe interactions
- Experience with sequencing data analysis and/or bacterial genetics
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently
